We aim to migrate all remaining Data Ocean users to Trimble File Service by the end of 2026, with Data Ocean retiring in early 2027. This transition plan was announced in January 2025 to allow ample preparation time.
About File Service
Trimble File Service was released to production in July 2024 as Trimble’s next iteration of file management solution. It builds on top of the work and learnings from Data Ocean and Trimble Connect, and expands beyond their application- and project-centric concepts.
