To provide a coherent developer experience, new major API versions deployed on API Cloud will need to adhere to the API Standard. Alignment is crucial during the early API development phase, often well before gateway deployment.

API Cloud is designed as a complete solution for accessing, sharing and consuming APIs for building new solutions. It enables a developer to publish, consume and manage the APIs in an easy manner. Apart from these main functions, it presents an easy interface to cover all aspects of API management, that ensures good visibility and enhanced accessibility to the APIs. This results in easy understanding and use of APIs. On the whole, it presents an easy platform for developers, who gain access to the API sharing platform and can use it to their advantage to build a solution.
