Q: Why isn’t my multipart upload available? The status hasn’t changed from UPLOADABLE to AVAILABLE.

A: To complete a multipart upload, you have to run the complete request:

GET base URL/api/files/{**id**}/complete

Q: Why am I getting a 401 Unauthorized error on my API request? I’ve connected successfully before.

A: Your Trimble Identity token could be expired. Request a token from Trimble Identity service.

Q: Why is my request failing with a TypeError? I see “error”: “blank” or TypeError Cannot read property ‘id’ of undefined.

A: Your request can be missing required data. Reference the API specification for the request and confirm you are including all of the required fields.

Q: I’m downloading a file from Data Ocean. Why does the file have extra information appended to the top of the file (e.g., content type or content length)?

A: The content type when uploading a file should be application/json. If you use a different content type (e.g., multipart/form-data), it will add the header information into the file content. Q: What regions are available for file storage?

A: See List of AWS and Azure server regions.

Q: Are there any known issues using the Azure Servers?

A: Yes, Azure servers do not support cross-cloud replication.
