Devices Management

The Devices API allows you to manage devices within IAM. Follow these steps to manage devices in IAM:

Ensure onboarding is complete before you proceed

1. Create device under an account
2. Generate certificate for device

Now devices can use mTLS to authenticate with TID, obtain an identity token and interact with cloud services.

In addition to core provisioning, Device Management provides a wide set of capabilities to support device lifecycle:

1. Associate device to groups
2. Transfer device between accounts
3. Assign role to devices
