How to use Invitation Service
Using the Invitation Service relies on Identity v4 sending an email invitation to an end-user (invitee). When the invitee accepts the invitation by clicking the link, they are directed to TID to create an account.
Once the invitee has signed in, the Invitation Service invokes the client’s webhook, enabling the client to configure the user account prior to the client getting redirected to the application.
If branding is needed, please have the invitation destination go to a branded sign in page. See Submitting Sign in Branding with Trimble Identity.
If an invitation expires before the invitee accepts, an email is sent to the inviter.
At this time, the only values you can customize for the invitation are:
-
Invitee name (receiver)
-
Inviter name (sender)
-
Product name
