Supported Regions

Trimble Identity supports the following regions for data residency purposes:

  • United States (default)
  • European Union (Ireland - primary, Germany - secondary)
  • United Kingdom (London - primary, Ireland secondary)
  • Australia (Sydney - primary, Singapore - secondary)

Note about secondary regions: When secondary regions are outside of the same host country or region, e.g. Singapore is outside of Australia, this was a conscious decision to prioritize high availability over data residency. The Trimble Identity team will continuously assess the readiness of a secondary region within the same country or region as our underyling cloud providers add additional regions.

Note on data residency: While TID supports multiple regions, user profile PII data is transferred to downstream Trimble services that do not support the same region. Strictly speaking, Trimble cannot guarantee complete data residency of a user’s profile and personal information to their chosen TID region.
