Enforce API subscription approval workflow

Trimble Cloud Console provides the ability to enforce a subscription approval workflow for API products. The API products that require approval are generally called as Closed API Products. The approval workflow would enable the API publisher to govern subscriptions for APIs.

You can enforce approval workflow while:

• Creating an API Product (or)
• Editing an API Product

To edit or modify the product options:

1. From the Trimble Developer Console left menu, select API Management > API Products.

2. Select the API product to edit. The product details display.

   Only Proxies and Publish sections are editable

3. In the publish section, select the environments Edit icon. The Edit Product Approval page displays.

   

4. Select Closed.  This option requires approval by the API provider to grant the consumer access.

   

5. Select Update to save your changes and close the section.
