Products Menu

The Products menu serves as the central interface for both publishing and consuming APIs. It provides a list of all available products, which are logical groupings of relevant APIs and Events bundled together for consumption. Consumers subscribe to these Products with their applications to gain access to the included services.

Products List View

The products list displays all products that are visible to the user, either from the users own team or other teams, based on their visibility settings.

Sorting & Filtering

The following options are available to manage the product list:

1. Search Query: Use the search bar to filter products by their name.
2. Show My products Toggle: By default, the list shows all products with ‘Account’ and ‘Organisation’ visibility. Clicking this toggle will filter the list to display only the products belonging to the users own team.

Accessing Products

Clicking on a Product Name in the list view will take the user to that product’s summary view. The available options in the summary view depend on whether the product belongs to users team or another team.

• Own Team Products: If user access a product from your own team, you will have publishing options available, such as ‘Edit/Manage APIs’ and ‘Delete’. User will also see a ‘Subscriptions’ tab and a ‘Subscribe’ option based on the Permission Matrix.

• Other Team Products: If user access a product from another team with ‘Account’ or ‘Organisation’ visibility, the summary view will only display the ‘Subscribe’ option.
