Groups

A group is a collection of devices that contains descriptive metadata that applies to all devices in the group like description, name, and a collection of searchable and complementary attributes. Some fields in a group have important implications, particularly the region, broker endpoint and the delivery endpoints. A group can be activated in IoT only when it is already registered in Trimble Profiles or IAM.

Delivery endpoints

The device events and error events of a group will be sent to the delivery endpoints. A Group includes the following delivery endpoints:
