Entitlement relationships

The Entitlement v4 service stores the information about what products a customer has purchased, what device or who at the customer has access, and for how long they have access. The service exposes this information to products through APIs for license checks and for tracking usage.

The following terms and statements help illustrate the entitlement concepts:

• A Feature represents monetizable functionality for the customer
• A Service contains one or more features
• A Feature can only be a member of one Service
• A Product is made up of one or more Features
• A Product can have Features from more than one Service
