Managed users
The managed user functionality is an alternative method of authenticating users who do not use an email address as their user name. Instead, users will receive an account ID, user ID, and system generated PIN to login. An administrator is responsible for onboarding the user to the system. When a new user is created, a temporary PIN will be delivered to the user, this temporary PIN can be delivered through preferred message delivery systems like SMS.
When should you use the managed users workflow?
Your users do not use/have email addresses as forms of Identity, or your users cannot access emails for verification and authentication.
Use case scenario
