EMS Legacy: Subscribe to EMS

For client applications to use the Entitlement Core resources server API, the client application must be subscribed to the Entitlement Core v3.0 resource in API Cloud.

  1. In API Cloud STG|Prod, search for “entitlements-core” in the search field (top right). From the results, select entitlements-core V3.0. alt text

  2. In the Subscribe to menu, select the application that you created. alt text

  3. Click Subscribe.

  4. Entitlements Core v.3 subscriptions require approval. Click Yes on the “API subscription is restricted” prompt.

    • You will see a Pending label next to your application in the Subscribe to drop-down menu. The Cloud Platform team will receive your approval request and approve access. You will receive an email once approval is processed.

  5. If your application is not successfully subscribed to the API in API Cloud, you cannot connect to EMS. Ensure the application is subscribed before proceeding.
